5 INUO researchers, belonging to different units, are among the most cited in the world, according to the Ranking of the World Scientists: World’s Top 2% Scientists, published by Stanford University (California, United States), which identifies the most influential researchers in their areas of knowledge worldwide, whose works have had the greatest impact by being among the most cited during the year 2021.
These researchers are:
– Juan Bautista Barroso Albarracín, professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and INUO Director.
– Miguel Delgado Rodríguez, professor of Preventive Medicine and Public Health and member of the Health and Epidemiology Unit.
– Hikmate Abriouel Hayani, Professor of Microbiology and member of the Process Engineering Unit.
– David Moreno González, postdoctoral fellow for the FEDER project, and Bienvenida Gilbert López, Ramón y Cajal researcher, both members of the Analytical Chemistry Unit.
Regarding his global scientific career evaluated between the years 1996-2021, the mentioned Miguel Delgado Rodríguez and Juan Bautista Barroso Albarracín appear on behalf of the INUO, to which must be added Antonio Molina Díaz, professor of Analytical Chemistry.
